The good news for air travelers is that Sangam city is all set to get another direct flight to Dehradun.
From March 27, Alliance Air will offer services three times a week. Currently, IndiGo operates daily direct flights to Dehradun, which is considered the gateway to hilly destinations.
The services will be available on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, sources at the Airport Authority of India, Paraygraj region said. The flight will depart from Prayagraj at 13:15 and reach Dehradun at 14:50. On the return journey, it will leave Dehradun at 3:20 PM and reach Prayagraj at 4:55 PM.
After arriving from Dehradun, the same aircraft will fly to Delhi at 5.25 pm, the sources added. The current IndiGo flight departs for Dehradun at 9:45 AM and arrives in Dehradun at 11:40 AM. In return, the flight departs at 12 noon and arrives at Prayagraj at 1:35 pm.
